Our services

Specialized work and everyday repairs for municipal and industrial clients.

What we do

Specialized work and everyday repairs, done right.

Lift station repair & rehab

  • Pump replacement
  • Wet well rehab and coating
  • Control panel and electrical upgrades
  • Valve and piping replacement
  • Full station rebuilds

Treatment facility piping & mechanical

Water and wastewater plant piping and mechanical repairs of every kind.

Complex water leak repairs

Tight spots, difficult access, and unusual problems. If it takes outside-the-box thinking, or even a helicopter, we’ll make it happen.

Hydra-Stop insertion valves

4″ to 12″ insertion valves installed without shutting down the whole system.

To plan your job, we need:

  • Pipe size
  • Pipe type
  • Outside diameter
  • Why the valve is needed. If pipe will be cut downstream, we make sure the upstream side is restrained first, with bell restraints or a poured concrete block.

Hot taps

4″ to 12″ hot taps on live lines.

Fire hydrant work

Replacements, relocations, and emergency replacements.

Valve exercising programs

Keep your system operable before you need it in an emergency.

We run Wachs valve maintenance equipment and offer yearly contracts for utilities and municipalities. Records of each valve can be provided for your files.

The equipment we use is industry leading. It runs on hydraulic power, but that power is controlled. Torque values are preset, so the machine stops before it can break a valve.

Why a contract?

  • Scheduled, predictable maintenance
  • Fewer surprises during main breaks
  • Documented valve condition and location

How we protect your valves

Some people hear “hydraulic” and picture a machine that breaks things. This is how it really works.

We clean the valve box first

We clean out the valve box with a Wachs Trav-L-Vac vacuum unit, removing mud and gravel, so the operating nut is clear and we can see what we are working on.

Torque is preset

The torque limit is set on the controller before we start. When the machine reaches it, it stops or backs off. It does not keep pushing.

Gentle start, small steps

We begin at low torque and only raise it in small steps if the valve will not turn.

Controlled, not brute force

The power source is hydraulic, but an operator is in control the whole time, watching torque and turns.

We count the turns

Counting turns tells us when a valve is fully open or fully closed, so we never force it past its stop.

You get the records

Torque, turns, and condition are logged for each valve as we exercise it, and the records are given to you for your files.

How an emergency call works

A simple process so we can move fast and everyone knows what to expect.

You call us

Tell us what’s happening and where. We’ll talk through the problem right away.

Sign the authorization

We send a short mobilization authorization through DocuSign. Sign it and call to confirm.

We mobilize

Once confirmed, our crew, trucks, tools, and equipment are on the way.

Parts are lined up

We call our trusted suppliers to get anything we don’t have on the shelf headed to the site.

Built for the jobs others turn down

Can’t shut the water off, or only for a short time? Those are the jobs we like best.

Turnkey repairs

We handle the whole job, from fixing the leak to restoring the street.

Confined space capable

We’re equipped to enter confined spaces safely.

Insurance

We have never been called off of a job for having less than standard insurance requirements.

High-security facilities

We’ve done insertion valve and repair work inside high-security industrial facilities, and we follow each site’s access and safety rules.
